“Climate Change and We”

Why so much noise on Climate Change, Why “GREEN” is most listened and written word now days. Why is so much curiosity for Climate change? How it will affect our day to day life?

“Climate” is a long term average (usually 30 years) of weather patterns. Climate change refers to the abnormal change in climate due to human activity. Abnormality in Temperature, Rainfall, snowfall, is due to Climate change.
“GHG’s” refers to Green House Gases which are the combination of Carbon dioxide, Methane, Nitrous oxide and Water Vapors. The earth atmosphere is mixture of gases; some gases allow heat from the sun to pass in and warm the earth but prevent heat from escaping the earth. This is known as Green House effect.
“Global Warming” refers to change in earth’s temperature which is causing the climate change. Due to it the ice caps in north and south poles are melting. They have shrunk by 34% in last 150 years. Rising sea level threatens millions of life in megapolises like Mumbai, New York, London, and Tokyo. The islands like Maldives may be submerged. Mountains Glaciers are also retracting. According to UN report of 2007, Source of the Ganga may disappear by 2030 if the temperature rises with the current pace. There will be more draught areas, Water Scarcity and Power shortage is one of the crucial consequences of it.
“Emissions” are gases released into atmosphere. Industrial revolution caused 40% Carbon Dioxide in atmosphere by burning fossil fuels (Petrol, Diesel, and Coal) and wood. Deforestation also reduces the absorption of carbon dioxide by trees.
It remains in atmosphere for more than 100 years. Carbon dioxide contributes 77% for Global warmings whereas nitrous oxide 14%. The major source for Carbon dioxide is power generation plants and deforestation which contributes 24% for Carbon emissions,
India’s contribution to Global warming is 2.2% whereas the highest comes from developed countries like USA (29%), EU (26.5%), Russia (8.1%), and China (7.6%).
Copenhagen meet was planned to come on consensus to cut the emissions to save the world but unfortunately it was big failure and the credit goes to USA and other Eu countries who wants every country to cut the emission at par with them. This was totally unacceptable to all third world countries including India. Also to create the Global warming fund was contentious issue. Wherein the developed countries were not ready to transfer the technology for low emissions to other countries. India walked out due to uneven policies of it. Cutting emissions means slowing down the economic activity in the country which will put us far behind with other peer countries. Also the debate was that these west countries are using Global warming as a tool to obstruct the growth of Asian countries.
We can also contribute to emission cut by controlling our day to day activity eg. Saving electricity and water, less usage of fossil fuels, planting trees, less usage of fertilization in agriculture, etc.
Remember that Global warming is man made and a global phenomena but starts from us and it will affect each of us in a catastrophic way hence it is our duty to save the world to save us.

Instead of 3 idiots, its name should be 3 excellance. super marvelous movie with clear cut message on present education system and its impact on society.
The present controversary on the movies itself is the sheer reflection of our present so called society makers(politicians) ill behaviours and audacity of not able to digest the truth.
Certainly i can not expect them to watch the movie in futuristic context and rectify the mistakes which they are carring since our independance. The movie is eye opener for parents and society who close their eyes beyond white coller jobs and impose their will to frame up the carrier of kids and ultimately and unintentionally end up ruining their kids carreer.
Lets hope that we all togather will take lessons from the movie and would be able to say some day that " ALL IS WEL....................."
lets give a single try to change ourself so that we can change the society.

Are We Really Free?????????????

A billion doller question is that " R we really free?". u must be surprised that how absurd question is that but latest incident of Raj-Abu compelled me to ask myself and every Indian this question. If yes that means every Indian has got constitutional right to read, write and speak language of thier choice. but our great Marathi man(Raj) believes that Indian constitution does not apply to Mumbai especially if he does not wish to. the proclaimed wel wisher of Martahi Manoos imposing that he is the real "SARKAR" of Mumbai and also beyond the reach of Indian Govt. my fear is that with just 13 MLA's he can do this , what will happen if he becomes the C.M. of Maharastra. Will there be a new country named as Maharastra. or will he write the new constitution for Maharastra where Indian constitution will not apply.
Also the role of congress is dubious in all the incidents of Raj. Few people believe that Raj is backed by the congress from back door to dilute the effect of Shiv Sena . even if it is so. i am sure it will not imitate the Pakistan and Taliban story. The moster(Raj) will not eat its own creator(congress). Even the reaction of Ashok Chavan and tight lipped senior congress people of central govt again reinforces my belief that nothing is going to come out of this dirty politics except the innocent people will lose their hard earned money , time and probably Life.
One more question pops up in mind that " Was this drama well designed to get national attention?" if so it is going to be Black day of Indian history for getting cheap publicity.
lets hope that our politicians will change their mind and style of politics to take care of atleast their country's interest.

Wake up India !!!!!!!!!

Does India Really developing and self sufficient to protect itself? The present fire incident in IOCL depo at Jaipur and subsequently our fire fighting mechanisim compelled me to say " NO".
Our authorities have left the hopes on God to extinguish it and saying that it will be settled itself once the fuel is over. Is this the way we fight with the disaster? does this approach reflect that we are growing by leaps and bounds everyday? somehow i get the idea that we are showing our vulnarability to our enemies that please come and attack on these soft targets which we are unable to protect? where is our safety measures for Pre incidents and post incidents? where is our meachanism to cope up with such disasters?
I am afraid how we will face the next century challenges in such enviornments.
Lets pray God to give us strengths to come out of such traummas and save us.

India is Equivalent to Gandhi and Vice Versa...

probably every Indian knows that who is known as " Iron Lady" of India but do they also know that who is known as " Iron Man" of India? perhapes not. The very reason is that Indian Govt believes that the supreme sacrifice for India is given by only Gandhi family members viz Nehru, Indira, Rajiv etc. and than comes other's sacrifice viz Shastri, Patel, Tilak etc.
i can proove that my thought is not baseless. Today 31st october is the death anniversary of Mrs. Indira Gandhi and Birth annivesary of sardar vallabh Bhai Patel, Indian Govt has spent crores of rupees on Media to reiterate that Mrs Gandhi has sacrificed her life for country. but no where message is given that Shri Sardar vallabh Bhai Patel also gave his life for our beloved country. doesn't it give the idea that we can no proclaim that " India means Gandhi family and Vice versa"
The very loved Grand son(Rahul Gandhi) of Indira Gandhi achieved the status in a years time which even spending 30 years in parthy Mr Arjun Singh or others have not achieved. If he visits a village , it becomes a breaking news and anchor story for Newspapers and Channel but if a whole village is away from basic facilities like water or shelter or Food. it hardly gets the space in any media. so which is the real India?
lets get into the reality and that is Gandi family is India and vice versa.
Do we have dare to change this?

Don't do this Mr. P.M.

Two days back our honourable P.M. during his latest J&K visit said that there will be no peace talk with Pakistan unless the cross border terrorism is stopped from other side. The day when Ms. Hilary Clinton was in pakistan. we were very happy that at least our P.M. has learnt lesson from sherme- il- safari's declaration and pre set the condition for further bilateral relations. it was a big hope for indians who have still not forgot the 26/11 and waiting for 1st anniversary to show the solidarity. we also remeber very well that during 26/11, our ministers and P.M. has used what kind of sentence and words for pakistan and also communicated clearly that they will snap all the ties with them if this barber act is not stopped. but the very next day of his latest J&k visit Mr. Manmohan Singh told that Stopping cross border terrorism is not a pre condition for Peace Talk. Is this the obvious reaction or is it routed through U.S. to safeguard Pakistan?Does or P.M. have an idea about the sentiments of ours?

I being an indian believe that this is a U- Turn in our policy under pressure of U.S. Can we ask that what are the actions taken by Pakistan to curb the cross terrorism. Why no progress in Kasab's case? How come our p.m. forgot those innocent indians who have lost their lives without any reason except being indian?

Life @ 8.54 Mira Road

Thank God ! The word automatically comes after i catch up this train. Its well known fact among all travellers of local that to get in the train at MIRA ROAD is not only difficult but almost impossible but i get irritated if i miss this train. The companions ( known as group members in local language of Mumbai) are fab. The life at this train is unexplicable. let me introduce with my friends of train. Pereira uncle, Khan Sahab, Gopal Ji, Patil Shab, Natu bhai, Rajesh, Patil saheb, Nitesh and Bhavesh , Deepak. Noel, Thomas, Tiwari ji and Dilip Bhai.The second coach of First Class in 8.54 gives immense pleasure to meet my train friends and have fun during journey.Pereira uncle is always inspired by KADAR KHAN'S philosophy of dual meaning dilague. his all coments are made for that in our journey. but other side of his personality is that he is very kind hearted and supportive . always welcoming newcomers and always ready to extend help those who are hanging on Gate.Khan Shahab. The police wala rutba is always with him. well regarded and knowledgable . we all respect him alot and he is like a mentor in our coach.Gopal ji , a decent person who believes that there has to be a limit of everything.Patil Sahab: 2 years down the line and he will be retired from his bank job. a decent person with somewhat fun with all the teams. we always take out his pen, Mobile, money from his pocket and than titiliating him.Deepak; "Gate per khade hona hamara Janam Sidh Adhikar hai" nice chap with good shayri's ofcourse non veg..Rajesh: a man with courage and decent character. a man with ethics and pampered by his beloved ones facing odd days of professional life but exepmlifying the Loyalty and patience.Bhavesh: Every gali is his takiya Kalam, Gali na de to pait main dard hone lagta hai inko. but Jaan hai train main . missing man..Nitesh: a cute man with always supporting Bhavesh probably a true frnd of Bhavesh but equally careing rajesh.All members have got their own problems and concerns but each one presence makes the journey so live and light that Kas ye journey thoda aur Lambi hoti.Har mahine picnic main jana. kutch naya khane ke liye train main lana aur share karna.i luv it and say by heart " Thank God
